About Omnicare

Omnicare Medical Group began as a group of dedicated physicians committed to providing exceptional health care to people living in Lynwood, Compton, and the surrounding communities. In 2016, Omnicare merged with AltaMed Health Services Corporation to expand access to exceptional health care services. AltaMed has provided medical services in Los Angeles since 1969 and shares the Omnicare vision of serving medically underserved communities in Southern California. Omnicare continues to operate independently with no change in delegated responsibilities, operational functions, or mission. We currently serve approximately 38,000 individuals, with a network of more than 125 Primary Care Physicians(PCPs) and well over 300 Specialty Providers.

Omnicare is committed to continuing the evolution of high-quality health care through our investment in education and our team of Board Certified, multicultural, and bilingual providers. We continue to expand our service area by developing great physician partnerships and contracting with health plans. This allows us to increase the number of patients that we can serve in the community.
